Students who attend this class will learn concepts and applications of simple mindfulness tools to help with stressors of the job and increase wellness and resilience. Research shows that among its many benefits mindfulness can help reduce stress, reduce emotional reactivity, and increase the ability to participate in the present moment. Created specifically for dispatchers taking into account the stressors of the job.

Students who attend will learn customer service knowledge and mindfulness tools to aid in providing services that are more efficient and effective, while also being able to minimize burnout. By implementing the knowledge learned in this course students will be able to better take care of themselves as they provide improved customer service to the public and the public safety personnel they interact with.
