Mental Health Awareness; It’s Personal

Mental Health is personal to me. And it should be. As someone who has immensely benefited from support systems such as psychology. As someone who knows so many first responders actively struggling. But today, more than any other reason- as a mother of two teens (who mainly don’t want to take pictures with me).

OUR teens are having a hard time. For the sake of all teens. For the sake of our friends and those we love. For the sake of first responders too. We MUST destigmatize mental health. And we can only destigmatize it by talking about it. So lets!
